Directors motivation
From the very beginning, we knew we wanted to work with people with different abilities, focusing on the power of overcoming and adapting. We wonder: How do humans react to changes? We are curious about the power of our brains to use surrounding senses and resources to attenuate the lack of a certain ability. So, to put it in a different way, we want this film to be about abilities, not disabilities. The idea of not being able to see underwater is inspiring to us. We want to understand the inner world of a blind person in such an environment. We would like to attempt to be visual “translators” out of observation and testimonies. ‘If you liked that..’ is an unconventional short documentary that initiates with an ongoing conversation between a
filmmaker and a chatbot, akin to GPT-4. The film takes the audience on a voyage that blurs the lines between the digital
and physical realms, using a montage-essay style infused with sensorial aspects.
The film is a thought-provoking exploration, crafted through the unique interaction of human and AI. By leveraging
both montage and essay styles, it forms a multifaceted examination of our evolving relationship with technology,
posing questions and inviting the audience to feel, think, and engage with the hybrid reality of our digital age.

Ever since yet lot of weird, good, bad, painful, interesting things happened to me. And all because of my teeth.
